This rig uses a heavy-duty 80lb main leader paired with a lighter sinker breakaway leader. If your sinker wedges into reef or rubble, the lighter leader is designed to give way first therefore saving the hook, bait, and the rest of the rig. More time fishing, less time re-rigging.
